Our Christmas Makers Market is back!

Join us on Friday 4th December, straight after school in the school hall, for our Christmas Makers Market!

It’s the same format as last year – makes and bakes in small quantities, on sale until they sell out. The market is all about creativity, community and Christmas spirit, with lots of children making just a few special things so everyone has the chance to get involved.

All children are welcome to become our Christmas Makers by creating handmade gifts, decorations, festive treats or stocking fillers.

If your child would like to take part, please sign up by Friday 28th November using the link below:

Even if your child isn’t taking part as a maker, we’d love you to come along to enjoy the festive atmosphere, support our young makers and browse a wonderful collection of handmade Christmas creations.

We look forward to seeing you there! 🎄✨

Robot Rhythms

Robot Rhythm Rappers KS1 Music Club each presented their own hand-made fantastic robots to proud families and friends at their end of term concert.

Big well done to Mrs Wade and all the Robot Rhythm Rappers!

Netball Competition

On Thursday a group of Year 5 and 6 students played their first fixture in the mini netball league at Shrewsbury Sports Village. They played incredibly well,  winning all three of their games. For many of them, it was their first time ever competitive time playing netball, but they all did brilliantly! They all showed great sportsmanship and teamwork and we are looking forward to seeing what this team can do in the upcoming fixtures over the next couple of months.

Poetry Panda Bags for Year 1

Our Year 1 pupils have been having lots of fun taking home our brand-new Poetry Panda bags!

As part of our Early Reading initiative, our Poetry Panda bags are designed to encourage children to share the joy of poems, rhymes and stories with their families at home.

Each bag provides a lovely opportunity for children to enjoy reading aloud, listening, joining in with rhymes and discovering the magic of words together.

We hope our Poetry Pandas will inspire lots of happy reading moments at home and help nurture a lifelong love of reading as our children continue on their literacy journey. You can find out more about our Poetry Pandas here:

Safety Week

As part of Safety Week, Year 1 were lucky to welcome firefighter Steve to school. The children enjoyed learning all about water safety and hearing about the important role that firefighters play in helping to keep our communities safe.

Throughout the week, children across the whole school took part in a range of important safety activities. They learned how to stay safe in different situations, including fire, roads, railways, water, strangers, and online, helping them to develop the knowledge and confidence to make safe choices every day.
