For daily communications, please speak with your child’s class teacher at the beginning or end of the day. Business Manager, Miss Othen is outside most mornings at the main entrance to pass on any messages to the office or staff. Headteacher Mr Larkham and Deputy Headteacher Miss Harris are outside most mornings and evenings if you wish to speak with them as we are keen to address any issues quickly and efficiently.
We always encourage you to speak with your child’s class teacher regarding any concerns in the first instance. If you feel that this has not been resolved then please ask to speak with the phase Leader.
For important and/or sensitive issues, please contact the school office by telephone or email and the relevant member of staff will contact you as soon as is practicable to resolve the problem.
Our staff’s well-being is a priority and we do not expect staff to be working evenings or weekends. Therefore, we do not hand out teacher’s email addresses to reduce the amount of email admin required.
For this reason, please do not use Dojo to message staff and be mindful about your communications. Please ask yourself: Is this an urgent matter? Can a member of office staff be contacted? Can I find the answer to my enquiry on the website? Can I chat to staff in person at drop off or pick-up? If you are unable to physically speak to your child’s teacher, please contact the school office. Our staff will always give your enquiries due attention, prioritise them accordingly and be in touch as soon as they are able to.
