Here at Coleham , we are probably known best for our ‘Creative Curriculum’ our ‘Caring culture’ and ‘Community focus’. This is what matters to us and what makes our school the special place it is.

Any thriving community is built on strong, authentic relationships, which is why people are at the heart of everything we do. We want every child, family and member of staff to feel that they matter! That their individuality is valued, that they are cared for and connected in our Coleham Community so they can flourish and achieve now and in the future.

Through kindness, respect and genuine care for one another, we have created a positive environment and a place where we all enjoy spending our time and learning from one another. It is this spirit of belonging, compassion and celebrating each other that makes Coleham such a special place.

We teach our children to be ambitious in everything they do and to believe in their potential to achieve great things. We are passionate about our Careers Education so our children are inspired to have successful futures.

We have an exciting creative curriculum, where every subject is celebrated with specialist teachers in languages, music and PE. We are proud that ‘Creativity’ is the curriculum ‘golden thread’ running through our school; it makes Coleham such a special place to be!

We are passionate about developing the whole child and we work hard to provide real-life, hands-on learning experiences for our children, inspiring them to become lifelong learners. Our school enrichment programme is fundamental to our learning and so we have a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, trips and visitors.

Our school is at the very heart of our local community. We believe that only by working collaboratively can we provide the best education for our children and that we have a responsibility to be outward facing, building relationships and seeking new opportunities for our children.

Our children regularly work with our friends and neighbours and we take advantage of our unique position to explore the historic town centre and Quarry Park. Our ultimate goal is to provide our children with a rich, rewarding and memorable experience as a foundation for their future.
