Times Tables
We ask for parents help with supporting times tables practice at home. In school we use the Times Tables Rockstars app to support the learning of multiplication facts in a fun and engaging way. Pupils all have their own log in (check their reading diaries) which can also be used at home. Removing formal homework from our school has allowed for time at home for this practice to be done. Please oversee your child regularly practicing times tables at home because it really will help them be more confident and able mathematicians in the classroom.
For younger children and those who are not quite ready for TTRS, we offer the sister app, Numbots, which helps secure those fundamental mathematics skills.
Please help your children with the following times tables at home:
Times Tables
Year 1 – 2, 5 ,10
Year 2 – as above and 3, 6, 11
Year 3 – as above and 4, 8, 7
Year 4, 5 and 6 – as above and 9, 12
