Year 2 trip to Wood Lane

We had such an amazing trip to Wood Lane and learnt all about Charles Darwin and his theories. We also learnt all about the quarry that is there and got a chance to explore the recycling centre. Well done Year Two!

SchoolCycled Project

Please bring in any washed, plastic bottle tops for our bottle top bin. When the bin is full, we will send it off for some ‘School cycled eco tokens’. Our bottle tops will get recycled into something for our school! The bin is located in between the hall and Mr Larkham’s office.

Year 5 Lions Choral Day

Lions enjoyed a visit to Shrewsbury High School to join a few other schools in the choral day. We had a fantastic time and learnt six songs all in one day! We would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Bunn and all of the other staff at the High School who ensured that everyone had a great time. Viva la Musica!

Darwin workshop

Today we had Hannah in from Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery to teach us all about Charles Darwin and his findings. This has helped us to learn more about our History topic.

We even got to use ink and quills to draw animals just like Darwin!
