The Eco Council help the Belle Vue Tree Planting Group to promote National Tree Planting Week.

(23rd November to 01st December)
There are lots of ways to get involved over the winter months.
Locally we have a small Community Tree Nursery at the Chemist Patch
This has been set up with support from Shropshire County Council and a Trees outside woodland grant and we always need more native saplings to grow on for future planting.

Why not pot up a small sapling?
You could even make your own recycled newspaper pot out of a tine can wrappe din newspaper.
A few drop off options available:
1.Drop them off at the Chemist Patch, in Belle Vue.
The top of the driveway alongside Lunts Pharmacy – 38, Brook St, SY3 7QT
We will leave a container out for sapling
2.Drop off with your Eco Council team and the Belle Vue Tree Planting Group will collect.
We also have a facebook page where we post upcoming activities/events .
This includes street tree and community planting. Any ideas/locations welcomed.
Finally, check out the CPRE Hedgerow Planting programme for 2024/2025.
This is a great way of volunteering at locations all over Shropshire
