Dear Parents/Carers,
On Wednesday 3rd December, we will be hosting a Christmas Charity Fun Day! We will be taking a day off curriculum to fundraise for Severn Hospice.
Our Rudolph Relay will consist of running the distance from the Arctic Circle to the North Pole – a total of 1,600 miles!
This charity event helps Severn Hospice provide free, specialist care for local people at the most difficult time of their lives. It’s also a brilliant way for the children to get active in the run-up to Christmas while learning about the importance and power of community.
Severn Hospice will be providing reindeer antlers for every child, along with a visit from a reindeer mascot. Therefore, we kindly ask that each child brings a minimum donation of £2 to support the hospice’s vital work. Please ensure your child hands their cash donation to their Class Teacher on Wednesday morning.
Non-Uniform Day – Children and staff can dress as reindeers (brown clothing and red noses) or wear any Christmas-themed clothes they have at home. Trainers must be worn, as all children will be taking part in running activities.

This promises to be a fun day full of fitness, Christmas cheer and all for a very worthwhile local cause.
