Year 3 finished off their Stone Age topic by putting their knowledge to the test and experiencing Stone Age survival skills in our woodland area! They combed, carded, spun and wove thread from sheep’s wool, ground wheat and made butter, built homes, wattled walls and handled an array of artefacts. They even got to visit some historic Stone Age sites through the magic of VR! There’s nothing quite like hands on experience to reinforce learning and secure knowledge!
