Headteacher’s Message

Dear Parents & Carers,

This week’s school production of Peter Pan was an absolute blast! Our incredibly talented children really outdid themselves, bringing the magic of Neverland to life with so much enthusiasm. From the first scene to the final bow, they had everyone captivated. The kids worked super hard, and it showed in every moment of the performance. They should be so proud of what they achieved!

We’re so proud of all their hard work.  The school production is a perfect example of how creativity, arts, and music are at the heart of what we do. These aren’t just activities; they’re essential to our school’s spirit. They give our students a chance to express themselves, develop their talents, and experience the joy of performing. I always maintain that the arts make life worth living, and this show was a fantastic reminder of that.

A huge shoutout to Mrs Stennett and her awesome team! Their hard work in directing, organising, and supporting the students made this production a huge success. Their passion for the arts and dedication to nurturing the kids’ talents were evident in every detail. The smooth transitions, stunning sets, and perfect timing were all thanks to their efforts.

And let’s not forget you: the parents and carers! Your help with learning lines, encouraging your children, and cheering them on was invaluable. Your involvement made the production possible and highlighted the importance of community and teamwork in our school.

Our creative week have also seen the Year 4 children rehearsing for a drama performance next week, and we have further bolstered our reading and writing curriculum with our excellent consultant, John Murray.

Well done to everyone!

Have a lovely weekend.
