Dear Parents & Carers,
As we reach the halfway point of the academic year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the fantastic progress and achievements we’ve seen so far. This half-term has been particularly eventful and enriching for our pupils, and it’s been wonderful to see so much happening!
This week has been a whirlwind of excitement and learning. Our Year 5s had the incredible opportunity to visit London, where they met with our local Member of Parliament. This trip not only provided them with a deeper understanding of our political system but also inspired many to think about their roles as active citizens. The discussions and interactions with our MP were brilliant and have left a lasting impression on everyone who went.
Looking ahead, we are eagerly anticipating the results of our short-story competition. The response has been overwhelming, with a large number of entries from students across all year groups. The creativity and talent displayed in these stories are truly remarkable, and I am confident that we have some budding authors in our midst. The competition has not only encouraged our students to express themselves through writing but has also fostered a love for literature and storytelling.
As we move into the second half of the year, I want to express my gratitude to all the parents for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Your encouragement and engagement play a crucial role in your children’s education, and we are grateful for your partnership. Together, we can ensure that our students continue to thrive and achieve their full potential.
