Dear Parents and Carers,
What a week it has been! The unexpected snow and ice brought a touch of winter magic to our school, though it did come with its challenges (the picture may or may not be an actual picture of me gritting the playground). We had to reset the boiler a few times and find the grit, but nothing stops Coleham School!
Despite the weather, we’ve had a week full of exciting activities, including a Diwali workshop organised by Mrs Mukhopadhyay and more sporting events. A special highlight was the theatre trip organised by Miss Armstrong, which was a fantastic experience for all involved. The students thoroughly enjoyed the performance – thank you Miss Armstrong!
We also had a very informative evening session about smartphone use, which provided valuable insights for parents. We will be sharing more information on this topic next week, so stay tuned. Thank you to Mr Tudor from The Priory for coming to share secondary school experiences; to Tom and Tess from the Smartphone-Free Childhood Team and a special thank you to Anthea Renshaw for her help in organising.
