Dear Parents & Carers,
A very warm welcome to everyone back to school after the half-term break. I hope that many of you were able to take advantage of the extra couple of days to really make the most of any family time!
Coleham School has been back to it like we never stopped, with lots already happening in the past 4 days! On Monday, the whole staff joined the other schools in our 3-18 Education Trust for our annual conference where we were able to network with colleagues, share best practice and access high-quality training.
Keep an eye out for upcoming events, including the Christmas Nativities, the Christmas Mingle and the Smartphone-Free Childhood meeting. This meeting (20th November; 5pm) is open to all parents across the school who may be concerned about their children’s use of smartphones either now or in the future, and would like some support or advice to be able to make more informed choices for their children’s mental health and wellbeing. This joint effort between parents/carers and school will be supported by representatives from Smartphone-Free Childhood Shropshire, and Jeremy Tudor from the Priory School. No need to book: just come along!
Please also remember to make sure you have booked your Parent/Carer Consultation next week for the 13th or 14th Nov (or the 20th and 21st if your child is in Rabbits Class).
