Welcome to another Friday end-of-the-week newsletter! Every day seems to be Friday: they are coming around so quickly!
It’s been another busy week with lots to read about this week – EYFS and Year 1 have been out and about on trips; Year 2 unfortunately missed out on their trip this week, but will hopefully be going soon, and we also had Rev Fi in for our Harvest assembly on Monday. I was incredibly proud of everyone who donated so much food for our foodbank donation. It’s so valuable for our children to understand charity and that there are always folk less fortunate than ourselves. Thank you for your donations!
This week we had David O’Toole and Claire Jones, our Trust CEO and Deputy CEO, visiting the school. They were very impressed with everything they saw: they looked at lessons, books, home time arrangements and talked to several staff members about their roles. It’s good to have input from our Trust Leadership and to be reassured that everything is going well: they commented on the positive feel of the school from both staff, children and parents; the positive relationships throughout and high attendance rates. Thanks everyone!
