Dear Parents & Carers,
Welcome back to school and the 2024-25 academic year!
Coming back is always a bit daunting, especially after a good summer break, but it’s also great to get back to a normal routine, see everyone’s happy faces and to begin a new adventure.
Well done to EVERYONE for such a fantastic start to the school year, especially to our newest members in EYFS! They have started their school journey in the best way possible and I’m so excited to see what they can show us over the next few months.
Thank you, also, to all our families that have helped to make the mornings and end-of-day routines run so smoothly. Arriving on time and clearing the site in good time has allowed to keep the school site secure ready for the start of the day and for after school club at the end of the day. Usually the first week back is a bit hectic, but it’s been incredibly smooth this week – thank you!
Please keep an eye out for messages about the upcoming September Social: it’s often the biggest and best community event of the year! All are welcome, so please share the date with anyone else you can think of.
Curriculum bulletins: the Autumn 2024 Curriculum bulletins can all be found on the school website on the class pages. Click on the ‘Classrooms’ tab to find your children’s classes.
One final reminder: if you need to get in touch about an important issue, please use the school email address: admin@col.318education.co.uk – messages sent to staff via Class Dojo are not monitored as regularly, and may not be seen in good time.
I hope you all have a super weekend, and we’ll hopefully be celebrating a Shrewsbury Town win on Saturday!
