Dear Parents & Carers,
It’s been another busy week at school with lots going on! It was lovely to see Ms Jones again as she spent yesterday at school with David O’Toole (the 3-18 Education Trust CEO). They spent the day observing school operations; popping into lessons; speaking to st
aff, children and leaders to get a picture of life here at Coleham. It was a very positive day and they were happy with what they saw – we are very lucky to receive such supportive feedback from the Trust in this way.
A special well done goes to a footballers this week: the girls in Year 5 and 6 played a number of matches against Prestfelde on Wednesday and scored some great goals. It was wonderful to see such passion and determination from the girls, and to also see how they encouraged each other. Great stuff!
We’ve also enjoyed a Greek workshop in Year 5 this week, and have spotted the posters around the local area reminding people to clean up after their dogs – well done Josie: the world needs people like you to care more about their environment!
On Monday, we have our Harvest Festival Assembly, with Rev. Fi from Holy Trinity coming in. Please see the article below about bringing in tinned food etc. for the food bank.
