Creativity; Caring and Community form the beating heart of Coleham Primary School’s vision.
It’s our mission to:
Deliver a Creative Curriculum: where every subject is passionately celebrated, using specialist teachers for Music, Languages and PE. To nurture young minds through meaningful engagement with the arts and cultivate cultural appreciation in the next generation. We are committed to developing children’s passions with ambitions to match. To provide our children with rich and rewarding experiences through our extensive enrichment and careers offer as a foundation for successful futures. We must all think creatively-our Teachers have autonomy to be creative in their teaching and Leaders are inspired to think creatively to continuously improve education and innovate along with our changing world.
Care deeply about each other: To prioritise connections and building strong relationships above all else. To educate with care and compassion so warm, nurturing relationships permeate the school with mutual respect, allowing high expectations to be set, and lived up to. This extends to the wider community so we can all work together with compassion and understanding. To lead with integrity, empathy and authenticity fostering a positive environment and inspiring all to achieve their best, focusing on wellbeing and growth of individuals.
Create a Community around our children: For everyone in and around our school, past and present to be part of our inclusive community. To collaborate with others to educate our children and celebrate our successes together. To instil a sense of belonging and pride for everyone: for our children to develop independence and resilience during their time with us, giving them a voice and opportunities to make a difference so they thrive and take these values forward into their future communities.

Our School Values
The School Council Representatives came up with our School Values and have linked each value to a year group to give children ‘ownership’ of these throughout the school.

A further value which we feel is the golden thread running through the whole school and our curriculum is Creativity.
