🌍 Dolphins Take Geography Learning to the Streets of Shrewsbury Dolphins became real-life geographers as they stepped out into Shrewsbury for a hands-on fieldwork experience. As part of their geography topic comparing Shrewsbury to the Lake District, the children visited three different locations around town to carry out a public survey. They asked members of the public whether they were residents, visitors, or tourists—and what had brought them to the area. The aim of the fieldwork was to collect real data to support their upcoming comparison study, and the Dolphins did a fantastic job. Equipped with clipboards, thoughtful questions, and big smiles, they approached the task with confidence and enthusiasm. We were incredibly proud to hear several members of the public comment on how respectful, polite, and engaged the children were during their survey. What a credit to the school they were!
