Tom Palmer author event

We are really excited to host author Tom Palmer in school!  Tom has written various football and rugby series and contributed to the popular Football Hero series.  He is also well loved for his incredible WW1 and WW2 books which are also dyslexic friendly texts.  These books are fantastic read alouds for families to share at home as they have short chapters, tackle important historical events and promote great conversations.  His are the kind of stories you take with you to adulthood.

Tom will be talking to Year 5 and 6 children about his career with a Q and A, staying for a workshop with Year 6 and there is an opportunity to purchase signed books.  These are available via Arbor for £6 each.
