Year 4 trip to Wroxeter Roman City

Year 4 trip to Wroxeter Roman City
posted 05 Oct 2017

On Monday 2nd October, Year 4 visited Wroxeter City to learn about The Romans and the way they lived in Britain. We met a 'Roman' called Rob, who was brilliant at showing the children how the Romans lived, especially their toilet and bathing habits!  They walked round the site studying the ruins and  re-enacted some of the life that once went on at Viroconium (the Roman name for the city).

It was a great day.
