Year 3's Woolly Mammoths

Year 3's Woolly Mammoths
posted 04 Nov 2019

Year 3 made some wonderful 'Woolly Mammoths' by recycling large, plastic, milk containers.  First the containers were cut in half.  The top half was then covered in strips of brown, crepe paper.  This created a great, scruffy, woolly appearance.  Brown paper ears and white pipe cleaner tusks were added next.  Finally, the children stuck on 'googly' eyes!  The mammoths looked really effective together in a herd in the classroom!
