School Bids Farewell to Governor

School Bids Farewell to Governor
posted 12 Oct 2018

In assembly today we bade a sad farewell to our longest-serving Governor, Mr Alan Townsend. Mr Townsend has been a Governor at Coleham for well over 30 years, having joined the Governing Body as a Parent Governor when his children were at school here. Mr Townsend's ties go back much further than this even as he was a pupil here himself!

The whole school watched as Ms Jones presented Mr Townsend with a framed picture that children had painted for him - a small token of our gratitude for all the work he has done for the school over the years.

We wish him well in his future endeavours and hope he has a long and happy retirement.
