During the month of October Catering Academy ran a Lunch-A-Thon competition, calling on pupils to create a great recipe for school dinners. Three children's recipes were shortlisted. These have been made by our Chef Manager and Catering Team and served at lunchtimes this week. The children came up with some great winter recipes: Sausage Surprise, Veggie Puff Pastry Squares and Chicken Pie. All of the dishes have been so popular with the children that they will probably feature again on future menus. The gallery shows our three finalists with their created dishes. Prizes were presented by Chef Manager, Miss Perry. Each budding chef was also given a winner's apron.
