Dear Parents/ Carers,
Like many of us, I have friends and loved ones who are battling cancer and, after deliberating for over 2 years (a luxury some don’t have), have decided to ‘Brave the Shave’ to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.
I am going to have my hair shaved off on the last day of term, Tuesday 19th December, in the school hall at about 3:30pm. Please feel free to come and support (no laughing allowed) if you would like to.
It would be lovely if we could have a cake sale during my head-shaving and if you are able to donate some cakes for this then that would be amazing. Please bring any cake donations (no nuts please) to school on the morning of the 19th December, or to the head-shaving event, if you are able to come along.
Thank you so much for all the support I have already received. If you would like to donate online please go to bravetheshave.macmillan.org.uk/shavers and search for my profile.
Thank you very much. I think I shall be asking Santa for a hat this Christmas!
